AFK Journey Drops a New Horror-Themed Season Called Chains of Eternity

Farlight Games, the publishing arm of Lilith Games, has rolled out a seasonal content update for AFK Journey titled Chains of Eternity. This one lets you dive into a wintry wonderland filled with mystery, thrills and fun.

Cedartown in the Duchy of Whiteridge has been all decked out for the Snowspire Festival. But beneath the glitter and cheer lies a dark secret. Chains of Eternity is a story of friendship, betrayal and redemption wrapped in horror-thriller vibes.

The Chains of Eternity season officially kicks off for servers that have been around for at least 35 days. And you’ll need to be at Level 240 with your Hands of Resonance and have completed New Journey to unlock it.

With its rich storytelling and challenging battles, Chains of Eternity seems like a great update for AFK Journey. Catch a glimpse of what’s in store here.

What’s the New Stuff?

Once you unlock the content, a quest will pop up in Holistone, launching you straight into the new storyline, Shattered Loop. The update introduces Elijah & Lailah, the Celestial Twins. You can snag these powerful new heroes through Stargaze Station and the Guild Store.

If you missed the Waves of Intrigue season previously, it’s back. Starting January 20th, you can access it in the Peaks of Time mode after completing The Last Leg quest.

This mode lets you dive back into the season storyline, hoard map resources and pick up exactly where you left off if you’ve already played it. Your Fish Collection progress and Rustport Fishing Level even carry over, so no need to start from scratch.
