Dead Rails Packmaster Class Guide

We’ve got a bunch of new classes to cover with the latest Dead Rails update. The addition of classes the focus on sending minions after enemies is great, and one that can do this is the Dead Rails Packmaster. This class focuses hard on wolf taming, and we’re focusing hard on providing the necessary info that lets you make your choice on whether to add this one to your roster, or throw it to the wolves.

You can play Dead Rails for yourself on Roblox. If you’re interested in the other minion-centric class, take a look at our guide on the Dead Rails Necromancer.

About The Packmaster

The Packmaster is a class introduced on the April 11th. This class is sort of the animal handling equivalent of the Necromancer class. (And superior in our opinion.) The Packmaster spawns with a shovel, and three tamed wolves.

How To Get The Packmaster

You can unlock the Packmaster in the Lobby via the Tailor’s Shop. This class shop trades in Bonds. The Packmaster is a relatively low-cost class at only 35 Bonds.

You can find Bonds on runs, in various semi-randomized structures such as the Castle. You can get several practically free Bonds from Sterling if you can locate it.

In our opinion, Packmaster is around the level with a similar class, The Necromancer, with perhaps a little more solo potential at harder difficulties. While wolves are a little harder to find than dead enemies, the Packmaster has the distinct advantage that taming wolves has never to no cost to you.

The Necromancer needs to expend health to raise corpses, but taming wolves is free. You just need to find the wolves. This can add an element
