What Is The Best Class In Dead Rails For Solo Runs?

We’ll discuss the best and the worst.

The Best Classes For Solo Runs

Some classes stand out as super well-suited to solo play. We’ve detailed those below.

Vampire

The Vampire’s success as a solo class is the same reason for its success as a class overall. Speed. A Vampire is fast. Fast and comes with a life draining weapon. This means even with the sun damage, the Vampire can still generally stay healthy, and outrun basically all enemies without having to get a horse.

Eggslinger

Who needs other players when you can make your own friends? This class lays an egg every two minutes, which will let them hatch it into a friendly minion whenever it’s convenient. This means you can store up a formidable fighting force until you need to use it.

The Alamo

Spawns with some armor, and a bunch of defenses to secure the train, this means you are more or less set for handling the final encounter off the bat.

The Worst Classes For Solo Runs

While some classes really excel at lone runs, others just aren’t built for it. So we’ve underlined a few of the classes we really don’t recommend you pick for a solo career.

Musician

The Musician’s calming banjo melodies are pretty helpful if you want to keep a group on their feet through a run… but they don’t heal the Musician themselves. This means the class’s one major skill is basically useless on its own.

Werewolf

You’re an absolute powerhouse after dark, but the reduced stats of the Werewolf class during the day can leave you pretty vulnerable without some assistance. This isn’t a hard no for solo runs, but it is a little more tricky.
